For ashleyludman.com, we again moved away from WordPress and rebuilt the site in Showit, this time creating a more elevated personal-brand home for Ashley and the many facets of her work. We kept the colour palette and visual language she had established over the years, but refined how those elements worked together so the overall design felt more cohesive, intentional and pleasing to the eye. I leaned into a more editorial, magazine-inspired look with stronger typography, generous white space and a structure that gave her story, experience and offerings room to breathe. The site was also designed to act as a central hub for Ashley herself, while connecting naturally to The Body of Breath and the other parts of her body of work. The result feels polished and established without becoming overly corporate—a much better reflection of the depth and longevity of her work.

The Body of Breath project was a full migration and redesign, moving years of established content off a clunky WordPress/Elementor build and rebuilding it in Showit. The goal wasn’t to reinvent a brand that already had a strong identity, but to modernize it—keeping the familiar colour palette while introducing more white space, cleaner layouts and a lighter, airier feel that naturally reflects the work of breathwork and embodied practice. I also reorganized the site experience so Ashley’s trainings, retreats, online offerings and facilitator community were easier to understand and navigate. It was especially meaningful to work so closely on a brand I’ve known for years, having first trained with Ashley nearly a decade ago. The finished site feels like an evolution of The Body of Breath: grounded, spacious, professional and much easier to manage behind the scenes.

I rebuilt the site from the ground up with a refreshed brand, stronger SEO foundations, clearer messaging, and a visual identity that intentionally mirrors Rebel Soul Media while keeping my breathwork, coaching, and holistic wellness work in its own distinct home. We used a semi-custom Showit build, added Mailchimp, created a custom color + font palette inspired by her Finnish roots, and built a wordmark system so everything lives under her name (with room for sub-brands like TrueNorth Leadership).
